Organic Shapes Rug is a 2 by 3 foot rug that was tufted by hand using acrylic yarn and rya tie fabric.
This rug took about 3 months to complete and took over 100 hours of focused work. Each individual piece of yarn on this rug was tied on and trimmed by hand.
The design for this rug was created to accomplish a beautiful, unique composition that displays organic shapes that followed a simple, pleasing color palette. I drew the design for this rug in a sketchbook which I then cleaned up in procreate and transferred onto the rya tie fabric.
